The Boys First trip to NC State

Jesse told Seth that when he finished Kindergarten math, he would take him to the bookstore at NCSU and buy him a special pencil. Well, yesterday he finished his workbook. Jesse had a meeting from 10:30-11:30 and then planned to take the afternoon off so we could go to Raleigh. While we were waiting for him to get home, we had a picnic on the back deck.



Unfortunately, it was windy (Seth was trying to hold the picnic blanket down so it wouldn't blow away), so we had to move the picnic inside.  I think Luke looks tired of getting his picture taken in the first picture.  They were watching tv during their indoor picnic, thus the dazed expressions on their faces. 



When Jesse got home, we went to the bookstore and Seth found the perfect pencil. It was a mechanical pencil with the NCSU logo on it. He also got some engineering paper. It was a fun trip. We haven't been to campus in probably 10 years. Things haven't changed very much.
