Disney January 2010 - Epcot!

We found Stitch (Seth was almost as tall as he was!)

Daisy was there, too!

Mary Poppins! I was amazed at how super white her dress was. It was almost fluorescent!

IMG_2649

Luke wanted to hold her parasol.

IMG_2653

She obliged, but that was a fake smile. I knew she was secretly hoping he wouldn't get it dirty. Spit Spot!

Luke tried on several helmets from the bin. He couldn't figure out why this one made us laugh.

Is this a harmonica or a flute?

IMG_1976

Jesse was attempting to time travel when this picture was taken (notice part of his head was vanishing!).

We got him back! Whew!

IMG_1758

I can't believe we don't have any pictures from our room! The boys had bunk beds and we could see giraffes and ostriches from our deck. I can't find any pictures from the night we ate at Boma, either. We need to be better about taking pictures next time!

Christmas 2009

I can't find any pictures between mid October and Christmas, so I'm going to have to hunt for them and blog about the rest of October and November when I find them.

In an attempt to catch up on all the blogging I haven't done, I'll try to keep this post short.

The boys put together their annual gingerbread house.

IMG_0678

They also had fun hiding behind the Christmas tree.

IMG_0672

And Seth got to be in the Christmas play this year.

A new blog post...

buried in the past! I found a draft of a blog that I was working on. I just published it with its original date. It was June 26, 2009 "Lunch Time Fun With Luke." You'll have to search for it if you want to see it!

Noah's Landing-October 2009

I'm going to attempt to catch up on my blogging, since its been almost a YEAR since my last post. Here goes!

We took a field trip to Noah's Landing last October with some homeschool friends and got to see lots of neat animals that we've never seen before. We all really enjoyed it, but it was an all day event, and I was really tired by the time we got home. The lady that owns and runs the rehabilitation center did a thorough job of showing us all the animals they have. My brain was on overload with all the knowledge we gained about each of the the animals!

Here's a pic of Luke and friends (and the back of Seth's head) with a hedgehog. He felt really bumpy!

IMG_5451

Seth got to hold this reptile and the other kids got to come up and pet it.

IMG_5459

This cute possum had been hit by a car as an infant, and is now cross-eyed. They take care of lots of injured animals at Noah's Landing!

IMG_5448

Here's a baby alligator that the kids got to pet!

IMG_5458

This little animal was a little timid and liked to hide in its house. (I can't believe how much Luke has grown since last year!)

IMG_5461

Seth was picked to hold this little thing (I can't remember what it was called) so that the other kids could pet it.

IMG_5462

Llamas!

IMG_5434

Zebras! (We got to feed carrots to the zebras and llamas. They drool. They were a HUGE hit with the kids!)

IMG_5435

We had a great time at Noah's Landing!
